On April 22 – 23, The American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam – Hue Chapter (AmCham Hue) together with the People’s Committee of Thua Thien Hue province and 3 Working Groups (WGs) of Vietnam Business Forum (VBF) including Tourism WG, Agriculture WG and Environmental WG was co-hosting a conference “Meet the Green Thua Thien Hue: Defining the future of green economic growth”.
The conference was attended by AmCham Chairman – Mr. John Rockhold, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs cum Director of the Department of Economic Affairs – Ms. Nguyen Minh Hang; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee – Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong; Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee – Mr. Hoang Hai Minh. Especially, 3 representatives from Working Groups of VBF moderating 3 sectors are Mr. Martin Koerner for Tourism, Mr. Michael DiGregorio for Agriculture and Environment, and our Ms. Virginia Foote for Power and Energy.
The conference received great attention with more than 165 participants of many scientists, domestic and international experts, leaders of ministries, departments, national and local government, business communities and economic organizations.
